Hi everyone.

I recently purchased the Flic 2 Bluetooth button after reading about it on bandhelper's site. I used it last night for the first time at a gig and I just wanted to share my experience.

I play guitar in a wedding band and our sets consist of lots of songs with zero downtime in between. I have a midi foot switch on my pedal board setup to advance through my midi presets/song. That has also been working great but I found that because of the high speed nature of our sets, I was always locked to my pedalboard making sure I was ready for the next button press.

I got the flic 2 thinking maybe I could attach to my guitar strap and use it to also advance presets when I'm away from my board. The setup in Bandhelper took less than a minute and at the gig, it was flawless. I'm always a little apprehensive about wireless gear in live music but this was totally solid. It was decently noisy wireless environment too. I'm already using a WIDI Bluetooth midi device and guitar wireless. Plus there's also our own WiFi network, the other band mates iPads using Bandhelper, the wireless networks at the venue, wireless mics, in ears, etc. The flic was consistent throughout the night. This was on medium sized stage I would say and it worked all the way across to the other side. I don't expect it to work on huge arena sized stages when you're out on a catwalk or something, but nonetheless I'm very pleased.

Highly recommend to anyone using Bandhelper
