How to delete transpose (sharp/flat) buttons from a layout?

In iOS on iPad:  I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but when I try to select the Sharp or Flat buttons in an Edit Layout screen (e.g. to delete them), they simply actuate the transpose against whatever song it picked up for an example during the edit...  I can't figure out how to select them so they instead show the small X button to delete, like other buttons.  Advice?

That's a bug that I can fix in the next update. Meanwhile, clicking between the two buttons should select the pair without activating either of them.
