Import Function Not Working

I am trying to import my database that is on my iPad to my iPhone and it is not working.  When I go to import the file on my phone, I go through all the steps, however the file doesn't load. I am using an older iPad and version and I am wondering if that is the root of my problem. I cannot update the app on my iPad because of my OS is not compatible.

OS version 14.6
app version6.2.6

iPad
iOS version 10.3.3
app version 5.3.23

Your iPad can run the current app version, so please update to that and try again. If you still have a problem, please submit a help ticket.
