Turn off all tips

Love the app, I can't gig without it. But I just did three shows with the updated SLM and the app now gives me 'Tips" at the worst possible moments. Like I'm on stage and trying to hit the little metronome fast and I get "you can now do this . . . " and I can't see the screen any more. Happens on other pages too. I appreciate the effort that has gone into this function, but I want to completely disable all tips or prompts or anything not elated to the current set. Thanks.

Are you using a new device for the first time? Otherwise newly added help tips shouldn't appear. (For BandHelper, they will only appear for a new user but Set List Maker doesn't have users.) When adding a new device, I would recommend running through the app functions before your next gig to make sure all your settings are as you need them, and then you could dismiss the help tips, too.

Like Troutstudio, love the app.  Using an iPad 12, running SLM 18.6.  Tried "running through the app functions" to prevent tips from running every time I touch the screen.  Though not exactly sure what that means, I've gone though all of the "Settings" in the db with no luck. I've tried to toggle Show/Hide hint icons & reset help tips.  No luck.  The databases have been exported from my working iPad 3, running 6.0.7.    Any other recommendations?

Are you clicking "got it" at the end of the tip text? There are about five tips total, and they won't appear again after you click "got it."
