Experimenting with the new "Add automation" feature.

I was experimenting with the new "add automation" feature on the website and I'm not sure if I discovered a bug or I'm just not understanding it correctly.

I have an existing song that has two midi presets attached. I trigger one preset for the verse of the song, and the other for the chorus.

I have been doing this manually with a foot switch programmed to just advance to the next midi preset.

I wanted to see if I can program this with automation. I click "add automation" and I choose "send specific midi preset" and enter the appropriate time value. However, no menu appears to choose the specific preset.

The menu to choose the specific MIDI preset is visible in your screen shot. Are the two attached presets in that menu? If not, please submit a help ticket.

They were not showing up before in that menu but I just tried it again and it worked. The menu populated with the presets attached to the song.

I attached the presets first and then I clicked "add automation". Maybe I needed to save the songs with the presets attached first?

Yes, you need to save any attachments you add to the song before they will be available to the automation track.

I didn't mention that because it sounded like your song already had the presets attached before you tried this.
