Hey all

I'm still trying to figure out how to successfully interface everything, here, and could use some assistance.  I've read other threads about interfacing Axe-FX III with Bandhelper but I think I'm still missing something...

My MIDI chain is this:

Morningstar [MIDI Out] -> AXE-FX III [MIDI In] Ch1
Mac OSX [USB] connects to AXE-FX III, running Bandhelper Ch4
AXE-FX III [MIDI Thru] -> two external units Ch2 and Ch3.

Nothing is behaving as expected.  Problems are as follows:

1.  I cannot get Bandhelper to respond to MIDI commands from the Morningstar.  I wish to be able to click through MIDI Presets with one switch, and switch songs with another switch.  Bandhelper is set to receive MIDI on Ch4 from AXE-FX III, but for some reason, nothing is registering, I've tried Note On commands and CC commands and Bandhelper won't budge.

2.  Outgoing MIDI from Bandhelper is behaving in extremely strange ways.  It causes my external devices (and the AXE-FX) to flash back and forth between presets before settling on the wrong preset.  I fear that there is a MIDI loop here but I don't know how to set everything up.

My AXE-FX III (Ch1) receives all commands as expected from the Morningstar, as do my external devices (Ch2 and Ch3).

Please click the MIDI button in the top toolbar and look at the Activity Log and compare the incoming and outgoing data there to what you expected to see.
