New Tonewood2 Amp app integration?

Hey folks,
Happy to report that I just received my Tonewood2 amp that I pre-ordered back in December for Christmas. If you don't know what it is, it is a device that mounts to the back of your guitar via a magnetic brace that installs inside your guitar with four little double-sided sticky tape circles (completely non-destructive & reversible). The concept (and reality, I'm happy to report) is that you plug your guitar into it, and it adds effects of varying types that vibrate through the back of your guitar so that they comes out of the sound hole with your guitar's natural sound. It's quite amazing and I love it.

So why am I posting this here? Well, outside of the obvious "way cool factor" that I wanted to share, the new version comes with an also way cool phone app. As I currently use BandHelper to control my acoustic floor pedal and mixer via midi, my natural next thought was, hmm, can I control the Tonewood app with BandHelper?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might go about finding this out? Is this solely up to the app developer or are there third-party interfaces that might help me here?

Thanks,
Jeff.

Hmm, that would be fun to play with!

As with any MIDI equipment, you can check the user manual for the product to see what it says about control from incoming MIDI messages, and if that's not clear, you can contact the manufacturer of the product. It is solely up to the maker of the product; if it doesn't support incoming MIDI, then no third-party interfaces will help you.
