The current iOS app version is mostly unaffected by iOS 26. The main issue I see is that layout sizing is slightly off because iOS 26 changes the size of the top and bottom toolbars. Also, the system menu consists of default items placed there by Apple, many of which are irrelevant to BandHelper.

Next Sunday, I plan to release a new app version with some updates to address the layout sizing issue, plus a Help > Utilities > Update Layout Height button that you can use to adjust the current layout for better compatibility across different operating systems.

The new version will also include the iOS 26 SDK, with the new Liquid Glass interface design. However, I only used that sparingly because I felt that a full implementation was too cluttered and wasted screen space. Here are the changes you will see:

- Popovers will have a "glass" transparency effect
- The song list, document toolbar and buttons placed over the document viewer will have a "glass" transparency effect
- The system menu will be customized to include BandHelper functions

Here are some remaining issues with iOS 26:

- Popup windows don't have the "glass" transparency effect
- You can no longer long-press the Back button to jump back multiple levels at once
- Bottom toolbar buttons are spaced further apart, which could push some buttons out of view on smaller screens
- Selecting a previous window size from the Window menu doesn't do anything

If you see any further issues, please submit a help ticket.

Update: Apple has approved the updated iOS app and it will be released Sunday morning (iOS 26 itself will be released on Monday). The developer tools are crashing whenever I run the updated macOS version, so I won't be able to release an updated Mac app until Apple fixes that. However, I don't see any issues with the current macOS app running on macOS 26.

I just found out Apple removed support for iOS 12-14 from its iOS 26 developer tools, so today's update is crashing on devices with those iOS versions. I just released an app version 2025-09-15 that reverts to the previous iOS support, restoring support for iOS 12-14 and removing the new iOS 26 support. That will be the last version that iOS 12-14 devices can download. As soon as Apple approves that, I'll submit version 2025-09-16 to restore support for iOS 26.
