{eop} and {sop}

When I copy and paste chord and lyrics from the internet, sometimes the format includes such lines as {sop} and {eop} and {inline}. What are these markers for and is there an easy way to strip them out?

Those look like ChordPro directives, but they're not part of the official spec:

Anyway, BandHelper doesn't have a function for stripping those out. In my experience, you always have to do some kind of cleanup or correction when copying and pasting from the Internet.
