question about syncing multiple devices

besides my ipad, I have a Galaxy Tab and I was thinking of using it in my setup as a secondary display for Setlist Maker. I've already purchased it on Google Play. I'd like to sync the databases and possibly do the bluetooth remote control. Do I need to do the in-app purchases for these items on both devices in order for it to work? The ipad will basically be the "master" and the Galaxy will be the slave in this setup.

You need the database sync in-app purchase for both devices (because it is a two-way sync) but you only need the device linking in-app purchase for the master device. However, the device linking is not yet available for Android. I will be adding it in the coming months:

great - thanks for the reply. Since I posted, I've actually been thinking about this that it might be more economical in the long run for me to migrate to Band Helper. I think I saw some tutorials around here someplace to import my SLM database. I have multiple devices and I figured the rest of my band might be interested in getting in on it.

Cool. After you register for a BandHelper account (it has a 30 day free trial), you can go to the Account > Import page in the web interface and find instructions there.
