Bluetooth Link?

I thought I read somewhere that Arlo thought the bluetooth link problem had been corrected by Apple. Is that true? We tried it the other night, and my partner did see my device, but everytime he tried to connect, it disconnected. We are both on the latest IOS and SLM patch.
