For the time I don't know if there is a DMX-Interface which can handle Artnet via USB from an iPad to get rid of the router.
The simpler and (cheaper) way may be a dedicated DMX-controller with a MIDI Port. Then you setup your lights via this controller and just send MIDI from the iPad to recall the scenes. There are some devices which can send/recieve MIDI via Bluetooth, like this one from Yamaha: https://de.yamaha.com/de/products/music_production/accessories/md-bt01/index.html

You can save a volume adjustment for each recording from the recording edit page. The sliders are meant for on-the-fly changes that are not saved.

Firstly thank you for the new volume control.
I notice that the volume settings are not attached to the individual songs, which
would be a game changer for levelling a repertoire, is there any chance of that?
Secondly are there anymore thoughts regarding a small parametric eq to attach/pin to an individual
song?
I believe the 2 requests above would complete the fundamentals for this wonderful software.

Last post by arlo - April 29, 2024, 09:58:24 AMThe MIDI spec does not include a way to do what you want to do. However, if the Helix has a way to set the tempo from a single incoming message, then you could send that message from a MIDI preset in Set List Maker.

I just started diving into the world of MIDI as I now finally bought the Line6 Helix. I already found out how to send the MIDI clock, but I'd prefer to only send the tempo once, so I can still override it with the tap tempo on the pedal. Once the MIDI clock is used, I cannot change the tempo.
So I'm currently using the custom midi to send the tap tempo, which results in not 100% the accurate tempo in the end, it's slightly off by 2-3 BPMs, which probably shouldn't be a big issue on stage.
However, is there a way to add a MIDI command to just send the tempo once as the set value?
I hope I explained it understanably

Examples would be a MIDI preset that resets all your effects, or a sound effect recording that you want to play at various time. This is better than adding the item to every individual song because it's easier, and you can trigger it separately from the song-specific items with app control actions, and it will not be triggered by default from the document/recording/MIDI buttons like the song-specific items will.
Similarly, pinning to breaks or pauses will make an item available from any break or pause. An example would be a video of your band logo that you play during breaks.

Last post by JerryK - April 26, 2024, 04:35:31 PMNo, it's for a section of most duo gigs, where maybe 5 or 6 songs would be chosen to do *this time* without backing. So the markers would Mute at point A and un-Mute at point B in the set.
It's not rigidly that songs A,B,C,W,X,Y are only ever acoustic and the rest are only ever backed.
So - a thing to drop into the list to Mute the track channels AND instruct me which guitar I've chosen this time (Ac or Ele)
and - another to un-do that after those songs. It therefore works for any songs placed between those markers/pauses/...
I'm currently using Songs for this (check those beginning @@ if you wish but I'm sure you don't need to) and maybe that's good enough. Pauses were just appealing for the task as they stand out in the list with a background colour AND don't add to the song count.
