Title: editing lyrics from setlist performance?
Post by: gatho on July 12, 2016, 04:07:45 PM
hi arlo,

we are using the setlist with different layouts in rehearsals. now we can do annotations on .pdf documents, wich is fine for everyone but the singer. the singer types his texts directly into bandhelper, no .pdf attachments... it would be great if he could work on his texts directly from the setlist. so that he don't have to go back to "songs" to edit a text... is there a possibility to do that?
and the second point: if editing lyrics in the "songs" menu, is there a way to have the "lyrics window" full screen?
greets, gatho

Yes, the set list view should have a pencil icon in the bottom toolbar and you can use that to edit the current song directly from the set list view.

The only exception is if your layout doesn't have any fields selected in the bottom toolbar, then the bottom toolbar won't appear at all and you won't see the edit button.

No, but on a tablet you can resize the columns to make the right column wider if you want. It is also often easier to edit in portrait orientation because then the on-screen keyboard doesn't take up so much of your screen.
