Whenever I overdub the automation track to add some changes it creates duplicates of all the existing events. It didn't used to bother me before because I could just do everyhting in one take.. but now that I'm recording all kinds of midi events it's insane... it exponential .. So a scrolling event doubles the first time, quaduples the second time, etc...
And it is such a pain to edit these all out.

Update: It only seems to be the scrolling events that get duplicated..... If I clear out the song, record all the other stuff first (start recording, midi events, etc.) then go back and overdub the automation recording with the scroll events, it seems to be fine.
