There could be situations where a musician is playing the same song for different shows, but require specific notes for that song only for that show. For example, at one show, they may perform a song normally, but at another show, they might need to do an abridged version or have a shortened solo section. It would be helpful to have a notes field that shows notes for that song relevant only for that show.
Maybe there could be a special type of note called notes per show that appears in addition to the regular notes field for a song. The notes per song would have a drop-down menu of all currently active shows. The user could check off which shows they want this note to be displayed. There could possibly be an option to add additional notes per song field, so the user could have different notes for different shows.
The way to do this is to make a smart copy of the song, then edit the notes in the smart copy, and add the smart copy to your set list.
Then later if you no longer need that version of the song, you can delete the smart copy and the original copy will automatically take its place in the set list.
