I have Beatbuddy drum pedal that is capable of sending and receiving MIDI Synch info - I am not exactly sure of the correct terminology to describe what it sends but it means that you can set it up as a slave or master when synching to an external device. Is is possible to synch the Beatbuddy to the SLM app when playing a backing track? Can SLM playback behave as a slave or master (or both) when connected to an external device such as the Beatbuddy?

Set List Maker can send, but not follow, MIDI beat clock messages. Instructions are in the second to last section of this page:
