The android-version that appeared on Google Play today does not work at all. I've so far upgraded two devices and Bandhelper crashes on startup on both (Samsung smartphone with Android 5.0.1, and Nexus 7 with Android 6.0.1). I have tried to erase app-data and reinstall Bandhelper but that makes no difference.
How about using the staged rollout and alpha/beta facilities that Google Play offer where users can subscribe to a beta-programme for an app? Beta-users then have the ability to leave the beta-program and reinstall the app to get the public release installed. It could both help catch issues like this and serve as extra security for those advanced users ho take part in the beta.
Okay, I just submitted version 1.7.1 that should fix this.
If you'd like to become a beta tester, please email me directly and I'll put you on the list.
