Hi Is it possible to send program change messages from SLM, to a Drum Machine App on the same Ipad that I am using SLM on? If this is possible does it require some other software on the IPAD between SLM and the Drum Machine? I havent chosen a Drum app yet, but just trying to figure out if the idea is workable? Thanks!
If an app can run in the background and receive incoming MIDI messages, then receiving messages from another app on the same device usually isn't a problem. If the other app were set up so that it only received messages coming from a different device, you might be able to trick it using the MIDI Bridge app. But I don't think there would be any reason for an app to do this.
