Hi Arlo - I have over 600 songs in Bandhelper, so when I get a request I do a search through my song list. If the song is there I will play it direct from the song list. Unfortunately the IPAD screen will go to sleep unless the song is added to a Set List first. I dont really want to add these songs to the Set List as they just clog up my regular list. Is there a way to stop the IPAD going to sleep when opening songs that are not in a Set List?

No, but you can use one of the Smart Lists instead of playing directly from the Songs list. Then you'll get all the performance-related functions, including disabling the auto-lock on your device.
