Can Band helper 'pass along' a midi cc to another app? I'm trying to get my ios amp simulator app to take PCs from Band Helper (to switch patches) and to take CCs from a midi foot controller. The simulator app seems to only take MIDI input from one source... I know Band Helper sends PCs and CCs. Can it 'receive' a CC from my foot controller and then 'pass along' the corresponding CC to my amp simulator app?
Yes, you can turn on Settings > Audio & MIDI > MIDI Thru. Then you can click the MIDI icon in the top toolbar and watch the MIDI log to verify that the messages are being passed along.
Many thanks. I imagined that's what "Thru" meant. Where could I go to understand the code I'm getting [B1, 16, 7F] followed by [B1, 16, 00]. I know that 7F is hexadecimal. Is this what you call "raw midi"?
