Title: Click Track on following actions
Post by: pbob42 on February 07, 2024, 01:30:45 PM
See this: Note: Sharing actions is less intensive than sharing screens, but still includes a transmission delay of about a half second. This is not intended for situations that require precise timing, like synchronizing multiple metronomes or layering audio tracks.

How can we use click track and either follow screen or follow actions?

You can either use a visual click by placing one device or a wired external screen where everyone can see it, or use an audio click by running the audio from one device to everyone's in-ear monitors. (Alternatively, some bands give a click only to the drummer.)

we are using click in in-ear monitors.  we are Concerned about conflicting clicks happening on the various tablets.  So then, metro is deactivated on following and sharing?

Is there an auto start on click/metro?

"we are Concerned about conflicting clicks happening on the various tablets"

You should only play the click from one of the tablets, and route that to all the IEMs.

"metro is deactivated on following and sharing?"

The only thing deactivated automatically is that the tempo button won't flash when screen sharing.

"Is there an auto start on click/metro?"

You can choose to start the tempo function on song selection from the Settings > App Control page. That is not on by default.
