Title: Chords color pasting from MS Word
Post by: mahauert on October 22, 2024, 09:09:45 AM
Hi

I am a Newbe to BandHelper but my band and I are passionate about the tool.
We left yellow as standard colour for chords. It happens that if we edit our chords in Word and copy and paste it into the tool, that the chords are not showing up in yellow. I checked formatting with other songs (where it worked perfectly) and I can't find a reason why. Any support is highly welcome.

Cheers

Are you pasting from Word into the BandHelper app or the website?

Is the Remove Formatting When Pasting option above the Lyrics field turned on? That should strip out all the hidden formatting MS Word uses, which might be conflicting with BandHelper's formatting.

If that doesn't solve it, please post a screen shot showing the problem.

Cool. BTW there's one line in your screen shot that didn't get the chord coloring because it contains "FF," which isn't recognized as a chord. Is that a typo or what does "FF" represent?
