Title: Midi clock not working
Post by: Kongsjorden on February 12, 2025, 01:22:24 PM
Today at practice i couldn´t get the midi clock to send from bandhelper to my nord stage 4. I´ve used this setup before and I worked fine, but today my nord would not recieve the tempo clock. Have there been any updates that could have broken this or is there any new things I need to turn on in the app? I use a cable connection from my ipad to my nord stage. I can do program changes so the bandhelper is connected to my nord.

No, this functionality hasn't changed in a long time. Is the keyboard receiving your program changes? Do you see your outgoing MIDI beat clock messages in BandHelper's MIDI activity log (accessible from the MIDI button in the top toolbar)?

Programchanges from bandhelper to the nord stage is working just fine. I can see the log window with some connection indicators, but not anything about master clock. I will try to test on my nord stage 2 tomorrow to see if I get the same problem as on my nord stage 4. Could you tell me exactly what settings has to be turned on for the master clock to be working so I can double check that everything is fine in the settings?

You just have to turn on Settings > Tempo & Pitch > Send MIDI Beat Clock, then view a set list or smart list and click the tempo button. When the MIDI beat clock is sending, you should see those outgoing messages in the MIDI activity log.
