Hi everyone, I use my iPad as the master for viewing scores and my MacBook Pro as the slave from which I start audio sequences. The two devices are connected via live sharing, so when I select songs on the iPad, the same thing happens on the MacBook. Is it possible to start and stop recording from the iPad without touching the space bar on the Mac, in my case (because that's how I configured it on the Mac).
Thank you
Yes, on the Mac you can go to Settings > App Control > Add An Action > Recordings > Start/Stop Recording > Layout Actions and then choose a trigger to start the recording with. Then perform that trigger on the iPad to start the recording.
Thanks! I set up three-finger tap. Now the sequence starts on both the iPad and MacBook simultaneously. Is there a way to sync the devices differently, meaning I don't load the audio sequences onto the iPad but leave them only on the MacBook?
Don't add the Start/Stop Recording app control action on the iPad -- only add it on the Mac.
Fantastic! Thanks big Arlo! :)
You're welcome!
