This is intriguing to me. Some time ago, I transitioned from iPad ot Mac as my primary BH platform. This was explicitly due to iOS limitations in audio handling. I routinely have multiple interfaces attached to my computer (e.g. Line 6 Helix guitar processor and Behringer XR18 mixer) via USB. Last time I checked, the iPad only 'sees' one interface at a time, and it is the last-connected interface which gets priority. I guess that observation may no longer be true?
AAR, I have multi-route audio enabled. I can select amongst the channels of the Helix and the XR18 as a destination for each source. However, I see only Recording 1L Output Channel and Recording 1R Output Channel - nothing for Recording 2.
Further, BH also presents to me the channels of an interface that has not been connected in months, let alone currently (iConnectAUDIO4+).
Lastly, BH does not present to me another interface that is currently attached (Cranborne 500R8).
I currently have embedded in my BakTrax a count-in metronome. But if I could move this to another recording, then I could run it to only the monitors.
Am I missing some other configuration setting to enable sending Recording 2 to another set of outputs?
OK, by deleting the mappings of Tempo and Pitch output to the (not connected) iConnectAUDIO4+, the iConnectAUDIO4+ options for Recording 1 disappeared. It required an app restart, but the phantom options are no longer in the list.
The 500R8 is still nowhere to be seen. As is also -- somewhat oddly, now that I think about it -- the mac internal speakers.
Similarly, no options for Recording 2 seem to be present.

I don't know if iPads support multiple audio interfaces, or if they do, if BandHelper does. I've never tried it.

I'm pretty sure Macs can only access one audio interface at a time, because the audio output settings in the System Settings only lets you select one at a time. That would explain why BandHelper doesn't see the Cranborne interface or the internal speakers if the Helix interface is selected.

Do you have multiple items selected for Settings > Audio & MIDI > Play Recordings Together?
