Hi all

I am considering getting this app but first, I wanted to know if it has certain features. I looked up importing and could not find what I was looking for.

If a set list for the band is created in something like Excel, can it be imported into BandHelper?  I would also want to use this app to change programs on a keyboard through MIDI based on each song in the set list. I assume that control change data is created within the app and is not something that could be put as a field in an excel file.

I don't know what your Excel file looks like, but you could rearrange it to match BandHelper's import format and then import it to add those songs to your account:

After importing, you would create set lists within BandHelper. In other words, importing is meant for populating your account, not for doing ongoing work in another app and then copying your work into BandHelper.

You can also set up MIDI presets in an Excel file and import that data:

You would need to do that before importing songs if you want to automatically link the songs to the MIDI presets. See also:
