Hi Ralleberg,

Not sure if this will be any help, but here's how I use midi controller DMX lights:

Band helper and Luminair 4 on same iPad (2024 Pro)
Luminair set to midi note triggers.
Midi notes recorded (Cubase 14), files loaded into Midi Files folder in BH, then attached to Track audio track. Works perfectly.
I don't have midi note on 127 and off 0, just simply the relevant midi note for the lighting scene I want to use.

1. To send MIDI data in sync with a recording, you should attach the MIDI file to the recording. You do not need a SoundFont in this situation because the MIDI file is not generating sound.

2. You also submitted a help ticket about this, and we determined that BandHelper is sending Note On/Off messages but something else is converting the Note Off messages to Note On with a velocity of 0. That shouldn't matter because MIDI apps and devices should respond the same way to both, but the Light Rider app apparently doesn't.
