Is there any way to resize pauses so they display larger?
It would also be great if there was a way that you could automate these pause starts without using the "auto-scoll song list" feature as I wish to keep that disabled for my use case. so i guess im looking for a "auto scroll pauses" so it starts after the previous song.
No, you can't resize the "Pause" text.
For your second question, are you asking about making BandHelper automatically step through the songs in your set list? If so, please see:

Regarding the Pause text size, As you can see in the attached photo the text can quite difficult to read. Often its announcements and important notes for our vocalists & emcees that they previously could see in the setlist view when allowed Ipads on stage.
Regarding automation/setlist auto scroll, We only want to automate the pauses, So the information in the pause populates on our musicians lyric prompters.
I've located and successfully tested the Auto scroll feature for the songs/setlist entirely but again we do not want the songs in the list to auto scroll since we have midi program changes that send upon song selection and do not want to lyrics to auto scroll prematurely if someone needs a drink, tuning, etc. and the count in may be notably delayed behind the auto scroll cutting off the top of the lyrics/charts.
I don't see an attached photo.
Are you talking about auto-scrolling the pause details text? That's not possible. But if you use songs instead of pauses and put your pause notes into the Lyrics field, you can resize and auto-scroll that.

Yep exactly what I was hoping to achieve. one of the pause features I like the most is the count down timer based on duration and how it shows a negative value for taking longer than intended for a task. using this for timing the bands breaks is a really cool accountability tactic for all of us but remembering to start it right as the last song of the set ends hasn't been as consistent as id like :(
It would be better to use breaks instead of pauses to show set breaks. Pauses are for a brief pause between songs to make an announcement or an instrument change, but the performers remain on stage.
There is no way to auto-advance only from the last song to the break. Actually, you could try placing a song link after the last song in the set, and then use the Only Between Linked Songs option when setting up the auto-advance; I haven't tried that. That would also rely on the song being played at a fixed duration so the app knows when to auto-advance.
It would be simpler to manually advance to the next song (which in this case will be the break placeholder) before starting your break.
