Title: Transferring plots between iPads.
Post by: Rhodney on February 09, 2026, 06:58:56 AM
Hello,

I have created plots on my older iPad Air and want to transfer them to my new iPad Pro m4, not as pdfs but as stage plot files I can edit.  Is this possible?  I saved the plots as .stag files and transferred them to my iPad, but I can't find any option to open them (when I search in the app the files are greyed out and can't be selected).

Are you using BandHelper? If so, the stage plots will sync between your devices automatically.

If you're using the standalone Stage Plot Maker app, you can export from the stage plot view page and import from the Stage Plots list. You mentioned a ".stag" extension. The file extension should be .stageplot. If your device doesn't recognize that file extension, you can add .txt after it, like "My Stage Plot.stageplot.txt".
