Ok I just go back playing with this app. I know you start automation and then long hold to highlight. But I swear sometimes it doesn't trigger or it skips a line and then it gets all messed up.
Is there anyway to just pull up the lyrics and timestamp the spots? I know I can manually hit + and add or delete, but it doesn't show me where that is in the song just says line and a time. I see it in the browser but it doesn't show me where that line actually is. I mean I guess I could count each down arrow. ;D
But is there a faster way to see the position?
Adding timestamps to lyrics for auto-scroll or line highlighting is on my wish list and I'll add a vote for you. One difficulty is that since automation tracks already do the same thing in a different way, I'd need to figure out how to integrate a different approach with what already exists. Similarly, it's standard to delineate timestamps with square brackets, but BandHelper already uses square brackets for chord positioning.
Meanwhile, highlighting just a section heading or the first line of a section would be a lot simpler than highlighting every line, and probably sufficient for anyone who knows the song reasonably well.
Add my vote for your wish list.... Never really used the automation feature, but adding timestamps to the lyrics would make life easier for me....
