Title: Keyboard not responding to HEX code

I used midi Learn to fill the preset HEX box.
Selected the Midi Device.
Nothing happens when I select the song with that midi preset.
The Hex is
F0 43 10 7F 1C 01 70 05 00 01 00 F7
F0 43 10 7F 1C 01 70 05 00 01 00 F7

to turn on the AF1 Assignable Function on a Yamaha MOXF8

Anyone have any suggestions?

Does that message toggle the function? Because you're sending the same message twice, so that would turn it on and then off again. You can delete one of the two lines.

Are you sending the MIDI preset? You said you were selecting a song, but that doesn't send MIDI presets unless you configure that on the Settings > App Control page.

Song select is triggered by the bottom two notes (Up & Down the set list) on the 88 note keyboard using an App control midi preset first.
I thought the repeated line of code was odd, but it didn't work without it either.
I removed it again but it's still not working.

Did you set the Send MIDI app control action to Song Selection? Selecting a song doesn't send MIDI presets unless you configure that on the Settings > App Control page.
