After years of using my tablet in portrait mode, all custom made PDF files, on my mic stand at chest level, I find myself in a pro performing situation that requires the tablet to be closer to ankle level. I realized that landscape mode is clearly the way to go — if I turn my tablet sideways all of my existing charts are perfect font size. The problem is that my BT footswitch will not turn the pages one at a time with any of my existing charts, regardless if I reformat them to landscape (A4 format or whatever, none of them work). I'm on a Lenovo P11 Plus Android tablet with a JOYO JSP-01 Bluetooth foot controller.
So for one gig I switched all of my songs over to native format. Since I only needed the lyrics and not the chords, this was simple, except for the fact that scrolling was not great — you know, needing to click the FS in the middle of a verse. SO I added markers, pretty time consuming process.
Now I have a bunch of shows that I need full charts for, and I am looking for help with one of two possible options, or any options I'm not aware of:
How can I easily format my existing charts to landscape and have them scroll one page at a time?
If my solution is to convert all my ~1000 charts to native format from PDF, what are the best solutions for this? Doing this manually will take me hours per week for the next 4 weeks with the shows I have, so looking for folks who have accomplished this already — any solutions are appreciated.
Note: I have already followed the developer's suggestion of setting Settings > General to Letter size, and enabling the Landscape toggle on the individual document edit page. This did not resolve the pagination issue.
I already replied to your help ticket about this.
