Title: How to send a bank change/ program change command to an XF8?

I see I have to send one of these first :
Voice:  F0 43 10 7F 12 0A 00 00 00 F7--
Performance:  F0 43 10 7F 12 0A 00 00 01 F7
Pattern:  F0 43 10 7F 12 0A 00 00 02 F7
Song:  F0 43 10 7F 12 0A 00 00 03 F7
Master:  F0 43 10 7F 12 0A 00 00 04 F7

Then a bank change command and finally a program change command.
I want Voice
I want bank PRE 1
And Program 83

What would my sysex be?
F0 43 10 7F 12 0A 00 00 00 F7
bank .....
Program....

You can use the bank and program change fields rather than entering those as raw MIDI. Just check Settings > Audio & MIDI > MIDI Preset Order to make sure the raw MIDI is sent first. You might also have to set "...with Delay Between" if the receiving device needs time to process the sysex before processing the program change.

And instead of entering those sysex codes into every MIDI preset, I recommend making one MIDI preset for each of them containing only the sysex code in the raw MIDI field. Then you can attach one of those presets to each of your presets that send program changes.
