I've discovered a strange quirk in MacOS and iOS that makes it very difficult to use the 3 dashes for a column break when inputing chord.
MacOS and iOS seem to automatically combine multiple dashes next to each other into one big dash. So press "-" three times doesn't produce this "---" but this "—". Strangely, it works correctly here on this forum and in Safari in general. But for most Mac and iOS apps, including Bandhelper, 3 dashes makes one bigger dash character. This causes the column break function to not work. The only work around is to copy and paste "---" from some other source. I've been using the bandhelpea tutorial page for that.
I have a video showing the behavior on iOS. The same behavior occurs in the iPadOS and MacOS apps as well. I don't know if this is a glitch or intended behavior from Apple. I don't know if there's something that can be done on your end either in terms of keyboard behavior. Although, I think a simple button in the toolbar for Column break would be a good option and overall better UX.
