Title: Support for AirTurn DigitII
Post by: Kvnknpp on February 09, 2016, 09:40:25 PM
I see one post on this forum where a DigitII is paired and working albeit other keyboard editing issues (which don't concern me). I can't seem to get the DigitII working with BandHelper. Then I see it isn't 'optimized' for DigitII. Could you please provide me a definitive answer, does DigitII work with BandHelper? If yes, any pointers? If not, any plans? Are there any other 4+ button, handheld controllers compatible?
Thanks!

Yes, it works. The AirTurn app directory says it isn't optimized because it doesn't explicitly support the middle button, but it actually does support the middle button if you map an action to the 6 key. Setup instructions are on this page:

Thank you for an extremely quick response. However, I don't see instructions on the page link you provided that are specific to a DigitII. I've tried linking by going to iOS setup and then Bandhelper, iOS sees it but BH does not. I've tried forgetting in iOS and just going direct to Bandhelper. I've tried all modes on the DigitII. Nothing I do seems to allow Bandhelper to see the device.
For the DigitII specific.....
Do I setup in iOS Bluetooth and then in BH, or forget in iOS and do direct to BH
What mode should the DigitII operate in?

I got it. The important thing about reading instructions is reading every word. All I had to do was click the foot pedal icon and voila! For others my specifics are:
Set DigitII to Mode 2
Pair DigitII in iOS settings.
DigitII will not show up in the line 'Set Up AirTurn PED'
Configure the action buttons in BandHelper anyway.
When you go into Set List mode, click the foot pedal icon.
That should do it, good luck!

To clarify, the AirTurn PED is a specific AirTurn model that works differently than all the other AirTurn models. You should only use the AirTurn PED instructions if that's the model you have.
