Title: Need assistance with MSB \ LSM \ Program information for Casio Privia PX-3
Post by: yamahap200 on April 03, 2016, 03:16:43 PM
I'm wondering if anyone here on this forum was able to get their Casio Privia PX-3 keyboard configured with Set List Maker. I tried the MIDI learn options but it seems its not producing the information I need. I have searched through Casio's support pages and googled everything and nothing. What information is needed in the MSB \ LSB \ Program fields for this keyboard? Can someone give an example of what this keyboard uses to identify certain sound patches?

I just posted an article about sysex messages. There are a couple of apps you can use.

Just hook your keyboard to the computer, press the buttons and the secrets of Program Changes are revealed before your very eyes!

more info in this thread.

Thank you - I will give it a try. I was using a Midi Monitor program MIDI OX and it was pretty helpful. I will give this a shot.

Thanks
