Am I missing something here? I"ve spent a bout a week re-creating my songs in chopro and it looks like I can only import them one at a time.
Yikes!!!!
How can I batch import chordpro songs? I don't understand the instructions on how to batch import text files, as I can't imagine placing an entire song between two tabs in a long row of fields ... unless I'm missing something.
Hoping there's a way to batch import chordpro songs.
The reason I chose the chordpro format is because of my understanding that the file has to be in chordpro format so I will be able to transpose on the fly.
Thanks in advance anyone,

Please see the section "Importing a batch of songs from a batch of documents" on this page:

It doesn't have to be ChordPro format to transpose. It does have to be some form of text, as opposed to a PDF or Word document.
Thanks for the fast response Arlo!
A few more questions:
- Where, as in folder, on my andriod device do I store the import.txt file and the songs I want to import? I'm assuming they have to be in the same folder/directory for the SLM import command to read the file name and then import that file.
- You say that the file format can be in text format for mass importing. If the songs in my text file are typed using chordpro format ( [C]This is one chord, going to [Am]another) is SLM able to render the chords in the right location above the lyrics? If so, then I'll just resave my chordpro songs as .txt - does this seem like a reasonable workaround?
Take care,

I'm not sure what you want to do. If you're importing ChordPro files, you don't need an import.txt file, because ChordPro files contain song info like title, artist, tempo, etc.

Yes, Set List Maker will position chords inserted with square brackets, as in a ChordPro file. But what problem are you trying to work around?

I was trying to import a bunch of chordpro files at once, but now realize SLM can't do that.

So I'm going to basically resave my chordpro files as .txt files.
The only question I have now is how do I use the batch import feature:
- Do I put the import.txt file and all of the text files for the songs in the same folder on my device and then run the import command?
- What folder do I put the import.txt file and text songs into so I can import them into SLM?

Yes it can -- I provided a link to the instructions above.
