This shows that you have notifications about set list or schedule updates that were sent through the app. You can read and clear them from the notification (!) icon in the top toolbar of the app. You can turn off this function by deselecting the App checkbox on the Account > Users > Edit page of the website.

Do you have Settings > Appearance > Top Toolbar Buttons > Notifications turned on in the app?
If it's still not appearing, try unchecking the App notification style in the website and saving, then checking it and saving again. That adds missing data from a registration bug that was present for a while but is fixed now.

No, it's not a pro feature. Can you post a screen shot of your user edit page on the website? You can open a help desk ticket if you don't want to post your personal info publicly.

Thanks to your last statement I found the switch.
It worked as you wrote above and the triangle appeared in the app.
