Title: MIDI log is clogged, why?

When I look at the MIDI Status Log, there are dozens of entries that say "removed port BandHelper for output"  (or input). 

Even if I clear the log then press one midi preset once, the command is still burried in dozens of these... is BH doing a lot of unnecessary work or something?

Shutting down the app and restarting seemed to help at first, but after a while the "clogging" starts back up again.
