Title: Edit Automation SLM

Ok I am in “Automation Edit”
I then “Add an event”
Adding “Specific midi preset”
Then press “Midi Preset”
which opens a drop down labeled “Midi Presets” which is empty.
I have four dedicated labeled and working midi presets, which should be in the dropdown.
Any assistance appreciated.

Are those MIDI presets attached to the song? An automation track can only send presets attached to the song (or attached to the layout, with the Send Layout MIDI action.)

The midi presets are attached to the layout.

In that case, you can click Add an Event > Send Layout MIDI. However, that will send all the layout MIDI presets. At this point you can't select a specific layout-level preset from an automation track. I could put that on my wish list if that's something you would use.

In today's releases, the list of MIDI presets available to select in an automation track includes the layout MIDI presets.
