Yesterday I upgraded to IOS 8 on one ipad. Everything looked good so I used it at a show last night. SLM worked great but because I am using a 3rd party extension to get power to my iPad it was not charging... because IOS 8 keeps that from happening. Just making sure everyone knows. It was only a 2-hr show so it didn't die, but almost did.
To clarify, I think you are saying that you are using a third-party charger that iOS 8 doesn't support, is that correct?
Hi - my Alesis io Dock2 will charge iPad4 under ios 8 without any problems
