Title: MIDI preset name disappeared

In "perform" mode, I used to see the MIDI preset name under the MIDI icon. Now it has disappeared and I can't figure out how to get it back. Any suggestions?

I don't think the MIDI preset names ever appeared under the MIDI icons. They appear beside the icons if your layout contains the Multiple MIDI Buttons option. Instructions for selecting and editing layouts are here:

Yes, of course, you're right-beside not under. I didn't think "multiple midi buttons" would affect the display (or not) of the preset name.
