Last post by arlo - November 21, 2025, 12:28:25 PMDid you try clearing the browser cache in Firefox? I made a recent bug fix that might affect this and you might not have if you were using Firefox before that and the old code is cached.

Last post by arlo - November 21, 2025, 12:27:08 PMI don't recommend trying to use square brackets in the section of chords that you're also organizing with bar lines. I recommend either leaving that section alone and coloring and transposing it manually if needed, or moving it to the Chords field.

The problem only occurs with Firefox! Chrome and Edge work exactly as expected.
I will probably switch to Chrome or Edge in the future when using Bandhelper. I just thought you might be interested in Firefox's behavior.

In the first line, I have written the line as an example the way I imagine it, the second line is currently the necessary one.

In the app view, both lines look the same, but if you want to transpose them, currently only the second one is transposed correctly – the first one just stays the same.

Last post by arlo - November 21, 2025, 10:30:05 AMAfter removing the square brackets from the headings, please select all the text and then click the Clear Formatting button (Tx icon). Then click the ChordPro Tools button again to put brackets around the chords. Does that fix it?
It's possible that removing the formatting might change the chord alignments and then the automatic bracketing won't work correctly. In that case you would need to manually place the chords. Alternatively, you could look for a source to copy and paste from that uses spaces instead of custom formatting for the manual chord positioning, or that uses ChordPro formatting so the conversion to ChordPro isn't necessary.

Meanwhile, I think using the Chords field for just the Intro chords in your example would work well, because those intro chords are at the top of the lyrics field anyway. The chords field would sit in the same place on top of the lyrics.
