2 Feature requests

Hi Arlo,

I would kindly ask for 2 little feature requests:

1. I am missing the aibility to copy setlists. We have some "standard" setlist, we play on events e.g. marriages. It would be helpful to copy an existing setlist (which we will treat as a kind of template).

2. The editor windows for lyrics, chords and notes are very small on the website. I can only adjust the height. Would it be possible to change it, so that the width is changeable in addition?

Kindly regards
Andy

Please see "how can I copy a set list" in the FAQ:

I think it is better to keep the width similar to what you would find on a mobile device, so you have a better sense of how the lines will break. When entering lyrics you usually won't have really long lines, and if you did, they would wrap on your devices anyway.

1. Cool

2. I am using BandHelper on a tablet and the "normal" lines on my tablet are twice as long as the lines in the editor on the webpage. (I am using zoom to fit the text to screen) So it would help me a lot, if I could have a bigger editor window on screen.

Okay, I'll put that on my wish list and let you know if I change it.

I just updated the song edit pages to allow changing the width of the text editors.

Hi Arlo,

I just recognized that the width is changeable. Thank you sooo much, this is really useful for me  :D :D :D

+1 for extendable width of text fields (lyrics etc) on the web interface. Or, better, a user preference width setting. I am standardizing on a landscape tablet layout that has complete song info, no scrolling, uses smaller font and text colors to highlight different parts, and because it is landscape has longer lines. I end up using Chrome inspect and removing the width constraint on the text edit div just to be productive in it as an editor.

Not for all users, I agree, hence a request for a setting of some kind.
