Dropbox as a source for documents
« on: November 11, 2016, 06:28:03 PM »
Hi, i have a request/suggestion.

When adding a document (like a lyric sheet) to a song from my mobile device (like an iPad), I would like to be able to choose from files that I have stored in Dropbox.

Currently, when I am editing a song and want to add a document,  I can choose files that I have stored in photos on my device, but in order to select a file stored in Dropbox, I have to exit editing the song, and go to the section of BandHelper for adding documents. From there, I can add a file from Dropbox, and then, in an extra step, add it to the song. I'd like to be able to do this as a single step from within the song editing environment.

Am I missing something and/or could that capability be added?  Thanks!

I'll put that on my wish list and will let you know if I can work it in.

In the new app versions I submitted to the app stores today, you can import a file from a cloud service like Dropbox in the file picker window.

Apple should release this within a few days.

The complete list of changes is here:
