Potential loss of data

Hi,
Sync in SLM was discontinued in 2017 as far as I can tell.
I have two ipads with SLM installed, and I want to delete SLM and all of it’s music files from one of the ipads.
Will I lose the music files on the other ipad ( my main working ipad ) if I do this?
Very nervous...

Are you adding music files via iTunes on a computer? As long as you don't remove the music files from iTunes and don't change the sync settings for the iPad you want to keep the music on, the music will remain there.
