Hello,

i use setlistmaker with an iPad 2 and i need a remote Control for the Show to scroll or page the lyrics and to choose the next song.
I made a layout which should work but i am not familiar with the remote Control and the Settings.
I would like to prefer not to scroll automatically, I would like to Change pages by foot switch

Maybe my english is not good enough to understand exactl what to do to get this issue done.

So I have two questions.
How can I Setup my setlist maker to Change pages and what Kind of foot Switch can I use with my iPad 2 ? Prefer Bluetooth remote Control.

Thanks a lot in advance

Hi,

can I use any Bluetooth remote control, or just the once you recommended on your page ?

I would like to use this one here

https://www.amazon.de/kwmobile-Bluetooth-Fernbedienung-Auto-Button-Schwarz/dp/B01J57ULBG/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1508818026&sr=8-9&keywords=bluetooth+fernbedienung

Do I need to buy an additional app to use MIDI control ?

I tried to use automation for the automatic scrolling by starting a song in Show Modus. But unfortunally i did not find any AUTOMATION in the preferences.
It is also an additional app ?

Thanks a lot in advance

That button probably won't work because Set List Maker can't respond to media controls like play, pause and volume. It can only respond to keyboard controls like arrow up/down or number 1/2/3/4. Most Bluetooth foot switches send arrow messages and some can be programmed to send different messages.

AirTurn makes some handheld options that will work: https://store.airturn.com/collections/handheld-remotes

You don't need an upgrade to use Bluetooth remote control. You do need upgrades to use MIDI or automation tracks:

Unfortunaly I cannot use the Digit III due to Bluetooth 4 requirement. IPAD 2 just have Version 2.0 and the BT106 ist to expensive :-(
