MIDI send on song change

In SLM the MIDI would send as soon as you opened/switched to a new song.  Does BandHelper have this option?

Yes, it's not on by default in either product. You can turn it on by going to Repertoire > Layouts > [layout name] > Edit Details and setting Send MIDI to Song Selection.
