Linking a location on the direct way
« on: December 28, 2017, 03:14:56 PM »
Hi Arlo,

I understand the concept of linking contacts with gigs, but it would be easier and quicker to integrate Google Maps for venues. Even better if it was possible to have the address available in iCal or Google Calendar for navigation purposes.

Best regards
Dominik

Can you explain in more detail what you want to do or what problem you want to solve?

I would like to see a possibility to assign locations, e.g. where the gig is, where we stay at night and so on...

You can add an address to a contact, then attach a contact to an event. Then in the Schedule > Events list, you'll see a compass icon and you can click that to open the first contact's address in the Maps app, or long-press to show a popup of the additional contacts. Does that answer your question?
