I'm back to try to raise interest in this again.  I believe I had an email last summer from Brandon about this. Not to push the issue but I bought a surface pro 4 so if anything happens with this , I'd be happy be a guinea pig... I still have my ipad so I could test the surface and have a back up ready to go.
